Day courses last approximately 8hrs and include a foraged themed lunch cooked on a campfire. Each course introduces at least four key bushcraft subjects and will involve harvesting.
A one day course dedicated to the sweet chestnut tree. Learn to sustainably harvest, process and use small diameter sweet chestnut to make cordage, containers and a spatulas.
Spend the day learning to make your own spoons and spatulas - essential items for your bushcraft cooking. You will get to harvest your own small scale timber, learning which species, growth habits and locations make for the most successful and sustainable activity before using your freshly harvest materials to craft your cooking utensils.
