Coastal wild food walks

An eye opening walk exploring the edible delights of one of east London’s most prolific green spaces.

A full day course focussing on plant based foraging. At this time of year there are an abundance of plants in flower or fruiting and this makes it an ideal time to nail down a lot of plant ID with specimens showing you their true colours and full suite of features! The day will be split between harvesting and processing activities.

Spend the day learning to make your own spoons and spatulas - essential items for your bushcraft cooking. You will get to harvest your own small scale timber, learning which species, growth habits and locations make for the most successful and sustainable activity before using your freshly harvested materials to craft your cooking utensils.
