Foraging and bushcraft activities lend themselves extremley well to group activities and are ideally suited for a bit of timeout from the modern speed of living. Activities such as picking edible fruit, flowers, foliage and fungi or discovering which materials are great fire starters, making cordage, campfire cooking, fishing, camping out seem to appeal to all - young, old, town and country - and connect us to our inner child.
