An all round foraging walk suitable for beginners exploring the many wild species of plants, trees and fungi to be found in the in the green spaces of South East London. On this walk you will learn about the multitude of edible species that abound the capital's parks and commons and how to approach the subject of safely, legally and consideratley enjoying them. This walk is not a harvesting and feasting exercise but you will get to eat wild foods either on the spot when suitable specimens are found or by way of pre-made samples that demonstrate how the species can be used as an ingredient.
